With no-one more disappointed about the cancellation of this years stages rally than the members of Laois Rallysport Club they have grabbed the bull by the horns and following a full review of the current situation at a club EGM, have appointed a club rally manager to assemble a team to develop the financial and event plan that will allow the club to run a very special rally in 2011.

With a nationally central location, easy access to terrific stages, a huge desire in the locality to bring a very special event to the area and club members committed to the cause, a team is currently being assembled to plan and deliver a fantastic event for competitors, sponsors and the Laois community in June 2011.

Drawing on all the skills, experience and enthusiasm within the club and enjoying the support of motor clubs throughout the region who Laois members have supported over the past years the Laois Rallysport Club are planning that 2011’s event will be the first step on the road to hosting a major annual motorsport festival in the county.
